MP and ex-journalist Tatyana Chornovol was trained as the artillery specialist and on August 18, along with other graduates, she solemnly took the military oath and received the rank of junior lieutenant of the reserve. However, even in this, a segment of the network users have managed to find the treason. Although, they faced the response which was no less powerful. About internet-battles – in the reactions from DUMKA.

Not so long before the oath, on her social media page, Tetyana Chornovol told us about the initiation of an artillery officer. According to her, this is when you shoot with the howitzer, and then you have the honor to make a war paint on your face with the ashes from the shell. And then, with the same shell they … slap your ass, such a tradition, they say. Well, I think you’ve already guessed the headlines of the vast majority of the news.  The training itself, according to the MP, lasted for one hundred days, after which she served a month in the army in the status of a soldier. So what’s upset some users so much? So, let’s try to understand everything together.

For example, here Mr. Martin Brest, a blogger, a veteran of ATO, and a writer, tried to sort out every detail of Tatiana Chornovol’s appearance, hinting that only MP could afford it. Among the “fatal” mistakes of an MP – tucked in jacket, confused chevrons, not appropriate shoes and the lack of a flag on her shoulder. Each word of the author’s “analysis” was accompanied by “because Tetyana can do it”. OK, let him write; because Martin can do it.

Marusya Zvirobiy, a volunteer, and a military instructor, also contentiously treated the chevrons and MP’s tucked jacket. Also, she added something about supposedly mental disorders of Chornovol. Smells with Shariy, isn’t it? We will eliminate it a little bit further.

The blogger Oleksandr Noinets also was free in the usage of sharp comparisons. Like, all these “intergalactic Cossacks groups” shouldn’t be closed, because khm… what kind of word will suit here. In short, there is a possibility to receive their medals for those who, in the opinion of the blogger, shouldn’t be allowed to be in the army. Just curious, Mr. Oleksandr, what criteria did you use? Also by a jacket? Or it was a chevron?

This story is not without sarcasm. Well, at least, it’s attempt. Journalist Olga Reshetylova found a “positive” moment in this whole story, saying now you can ask Chornovol to shoot with all the new weapons. Then the equipment of the army will be more reliable. Yep. Gunner. To shoot with all weapons. Bring the sniper rifle and quicker.

The paramedic and volunteer Yulia Payevska in general offered to play in the well-known game “find the difference”. So, let’s play? On the first photo – Oksana Korchynska, the only MP, which Payevska constantly meets on the front line. All her free time and all her money the woman spends on helping the wounded and volunteers. Actually, she’s living at the front line. She doesn’t have even a social media account. Well, you’ve understood the hint.

And whom does Ms. Payevska suggest to see in the second photo? Yep, Tetyana Chornovol, who became a junior lieutenant only for the sake of “likes” and PR. It’s not that I’m campaigning for Chornovol, you can treat her differently, but, come on, people, she has just taken an oath, and you already compare her with the other defenders of Ukraine from the Russian aggression. But who cares about this.

Actually, the critics of the MP faced even more than a serious response from other users. However, first of all, I will give you the post of Olena Bilozerska. There is a lot of words, few people would like to read it completely, but I’ll try to tell it in short. Olena is a well-known blogger and journalist who’s now one of the soldiers who defend our country. It appeared that Bilozerska was taking the same courses as Chornovil. According to the author of the post, the MP mastered the educational material faster than the others, is able to make all calculations on firing, which were included in the program. It means that Chornovol actually studied, she wasn’t just “on the list” of an educational institution.

However, Bilozerska admitted that, of course, MP wasn’t a “normal” student. Teachers often met her needs and worked with MP separately, according to an individual program, so that she could finish earlier. She also attended the military camp and firearms training with Bilozerska : obviously, thanks to her deputy mandate. It means, there were still some certain privileges, but Tetyana used them only for training.

And here is the first answer for Brest and the company, that is, for those who like to check out the look. According to Bilozerska, for a short course of officers training, they were not taught how to wear chevrons and tuck the jacket correctly. All possible time was taken for artillery training to teach them at least something. And it’s because, during the war, the main thing is where the shell will fly, rather than where the jacket is. Another thing is that Chornovol could have consulted before an oath with some experienced military officer.

In the end, those who began to blame Chornovil for a PR got their portion from Bilozerska. If you don’t like Chornovil as a politician, don’t vote then. However to spill dirt because of the graduation from the officer’s courses, according to the blogger, is a baseness. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Iryna Gerashchenko also stood up for Chornovol. The first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that in fact Tetyana was humiliated for her authenticity because she was able to get to the end. Herashchenko added that the parliamentary elections are temporary, but patriotism and willingness to fight for your homeland are either present or absent. In one word, not without philosophy in the post.

Agiya Zagrebelska, a State commissioner at Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, stated that those who now with their courageous men’s hands are writing the new offenses towards Chornovol, during the hard times will be away from the epicenter, closer to comfort and safety. However, I wouldn’t generalize it, because most of the people from the first screenshots of our review, don’t sit on their sofas too.

The blogger Borys Nemirovsky instead evaluated the situation rather restrained. It was like, maybe Chornovol is not the best politician, but she can benefit the army. Come on, Mr. Boris. What kind of benefits, haven’t you read the first screenshots? Everything was decided before us.

The blogger Anton Hodza also joined the critics of “haters”. He says that +1 person with military skills is just for the better, and Chornovol’s “strange image” is our personal affair. And PR, according to Hodza, in general works with the help of people’s reaction. It’s like: no reaction – no PR. Well, it turns out that the biggest critics of her chevrons made the biggest PR for Mrs. Chornovol because only after that a wave of protection had begun. In short, these are the laws of facebook, the physics of social networks. For which someone will have “D” for the term.

Blogger Miroslav Oleshko also defended Chornovol, recalling that volunteers, some of whom are veterans, and just bloggers troll not only the MP but also the widow of the deceased Ukrainian warrior and a person who fought against Russia since the war in Chechnya. Why they’ve targeted her? Because they can’t do it, Oleshko says. This was the blogger’s revelation.

Tetyana Chornovol has also responded the critics of Brest and other opponents of her oath, by asking what she had done wrong. The MP emphasized that it wasn’t PR, because nobody even knew that she was studying, did not appear on the screen, because she had to study a lot. The uniform, for which she was criticized, the deputy bought, to her own words, in an ordinary military shop near the railway station. That’s the story, boys, and girls. Make your own conclusions, but don’t forget to think critically. See you!
