Well, let’s take some betrayals and skip the school? The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has extended the license of TV channel “Inter” despite all those controversial statements in their airs and broadcast of the World Cup that takes place in the aggressor country. Such a decision was made at today’s parliamentary session. More on the mouthpiece of not very Ukrainian position – in reactions from DUMKA.
What a betrayal, isn’t it? They could just have taken this license, right? But it turns out that they couldn’t. However, journalist Bogdan Butkevych is convinced that at least “Inter” could be sued for a clear violation of the law on May 9. Everybody remembers that concert? That’s what I’m talking about. Alongside it, Butkevych is convinced that nobody will close anything before the elections. Everyone needs channels to brainwash people. This is how it goes.

Semen Kabakaev, a coordinator of the “Stop Terror” group, expressed his belief that total corruption is responsible for everything, however, it’s a half of trouble: the main thing is that on this channel they will continue to brainwash the citizens of our country. And what do we have? For four years, according to Kabakaev, the National Council did not find (or did not want to) how to make the necessary number of warnings.
Mr. Kabakayev separately unveiled the names of people whom we need to thank for such a wonderful and not even a bit angry reaction. And Stepan the Goat isn’t angry. And there is no difference that you are watching: “Inter”, “1 + 1” or “Novy Channel”. The main thing is it shouldn’t be “Inter”.
Andriy Smoliy, a member of Ukrainian Galician party’s political council, recalled that Inter promotes an aggressor state and does everything to ensure that Ukraine is occupied by the Kremlin. Shame on you, says Mr. Smoliy. In general, I wasn’t surprised, Mr. Andriy – this is my response.
What more can be said, you think? Enjoy the show, says artist and musician Yuriy Zhuravel. Then he adds one of his fancy drawings, which, by the way, was created long before today’s betrayal.
I guess you know how it was commented further. For example, here we have very interesting generalization about “Inter”: the price of loyalty of TV channel owners is blood and war. Want to – argue, no means no.
And on the web page of “Boycott Russian Films” it was reminded that the National Council closed its eyes to dozens of violations made by “Inter” because they showed Russian films with “actors-rashists”. What were you going to say? Fraternal peoples or common cultural field? I hope that no.
Michael Savchyn, the professor at the Uzhgorod National University, gave us a simple and useful advice to complete our reaction: Just don’t watch it and everything is gonna be alright. And this is what I wish to you.
Reactions were collected and “Inter’s” location in Ukraine was doubted by Stepan the Goat
