Petro Lytvyn, a brother of People’s Deputy Volodymyr Lytvyn and a Ukrainian military commander appointed to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Armenia. According to witnesses, he left his troops on the battlefield and fled. Further on a new betrayal – in reactions from DUMKA.
Well known volunteer and activist of the Revolution of Dignity, Roman Donik reminded us that in 2014, Mr. Lytvyn left his troops and fled from the front. Then, turn on your sarcasm and read that this was a long time ago and is already forgotten. Just curious, at what stage Mr. Lytvyn will flee Armenia? But what I am curious about even more is who he will be after it?
The answer is quite simple, and I’m thankful for it very much to Artem Mulder. It turns out that when they start to send people into the space, the first to do it will be Petro Lytvyn. Hmm, it seems to me that the first person to fly will be met by the space ambassador Lytvyn. Isn’t it better?
More simple, short and funny about Lytvyn says social media folklore. “This country… needs Lytvyns”” It’s interesting, whether Litvyns themselves know about it?
Eugene Magda, Director of the Institute of World Politics, with sarcasm that is understood only through hashtag beneath noted that “Ukraine does not have adequate diplomats for Russia’s allied countries.” Yep, the idea is normal, but you have to work on your sarcasm implementation, Mr. Eugene. We’ll meet in the next reactions.
More comprehensible to common people (i.e. to Stepan the Goat) sarcasm was demonstrated by politician and blogger Vitaliy Chepynoga. At last, a flow of fresh, young and creative blood. Yes, only we’ve seen that blood somewhere, and it turns out that it’s fleeing quite well. Or flowing, how to say it right?
And here we have diplomat, Bohdan Yaremenko, who quite veiled (or maybe openly) called Mr. Lytvyn a waste. Khm. More thought-provoking is another point of the post’s author: why do we need ambassador in Armenia if this country does not recognize the territorial integrity of Ukraine? Just to have, it’s as plane as nose on your face.
Journalist Maryna Danylyuk-Yermolayeva went even crazier and offered the president to think about whom to appoint as an ambassador to Russia: Yanukovych or a former “Berkut” member. Well, Ms. Maryna, with all due respect, I have to say that betrayal that already took place is not very appropriate to dress with an oil of your own imagination. Never mind, I even doubt that you read it…
Another journalist, Serhiy Melnychuk, hinted that Lytvyn was unlikely to be useful as a diplomat. How to say it to you Mr. Serhiy… This America has been discovered by another Columbus. And not even an hour earlier than you.
Milan Lelich, a journalist, said that the staff deck would be shuffled until cards are scattered in hands. Oh my God, what a comparison, what a metaphor, what a master of the word! Faster, we need the portrait of this gentleman in each classroom next to Shevchenko.
And the final post will be an alternative history by blogger Anton Hodza. Somewhere in the parallel reality, Mr. Lytvyn could have simply not been appointed anywhere. There, he, not a state, minds his own business. But we are responsible forever, for what we have tamed, aren’t we?
Reactions were collected and new Lytvyns were almost messed up by Stepan Koza
