In Odesa, during the fifth anniversary of the tragedy of May 2, the actions are calm, there are no reports on bombs.
At 7:00 am, the bomb squad checked the square, and police took it under guard.
“We have activated 2.5 thousand law-enforcers because they knew that some forces would try to destabilize the situation. We took into account all possible outcomes that may be, and therefore we are all here,” said Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Serhii Yarovyi.
Also, in Odesa, mobile groups were created, including special units, which will act in accordance with the situation.
Recall that on May 2, 2014, in Odesa, 48 people were killed and more than 200 were injured, most of them died during the fire at the Trade Union House.
