Since the beginning of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund within the framework of the new stand-by credit program, Ukraine has not fulfilled any IMF requirement for financial market reform.

“Today in Kyiv, the mission of the IMF began to work, which will also assess progress in the development of national capital markets. What can we show our lenders? Nothing! ” Timur Khromaev, Chairman of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, said.

In particular, within the framework of the new cooperation program, Ukraine pledged to increase the powers of the National Bank of Ukraine by adopting the law on “split”, also strengthening the institutional capacity of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission and adopting the law on derivatives and financial markets.
