Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine filed another criminal proceeding based on the materials of the third part of the BIHUS.info investigation of corruption in the defense sphere.
“The proceedings were made on the fact of taking over the funds of the state budget, committed at the prior agreement by a group of persons of a particularly large size, through the abuse of authority by officials from the heads of the state company Ukrspetsexport, during the procurement of parts and components for aircrafts”, said the message of NABU.
The department also emphasized that the Prosecutor General’s Office did not transmit to the NABU “the above mentioned facts and correspondence between the individuals disclosed in the three parts of the journalists’ investigation, which, suppose, may be contained in the materials of the investigation of the military prosecutor’s office.” At the same time, NABU said that they received materials related to other facts that were mentioned in the investigation.
Recall that the program “Our money with Denys Bihus” released an investigation stating that the son of Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleh Hladkovskyi Ihor is a participant in the schemes of embezzlement of the defensive complex of Ukraine. Oleh Hladkovskyi, in his turn, is a close friend of President Petro Poroshenko. According to the investigators, the management of the concern Ukroboronprom knew about fraudulent actions and gave consent to them.
