President Poroshenko said that on March 4, he signed a decree to release Oleg Gladkovsky from the position of First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. He said this during a speech in the Council for Regional Development in Mykolayiv.
He made such a decision a week after the resonant journalist investigation of theft in the defense sector. On Monday, March 4, journalists have to publish a second part of the material.
According to the president, he also dismissed Hladkovskyi from the post of chairman of the interdepartmental commission on military-technical cooperation policy and export control.
He added that his decision was not a court verdict, but he is trying to do everything to create all the conditions for a qualitative investigation.
