The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine states that five Ukrainians have taken off from Delhi, whose flight was previously canceled due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. This is stated in the report of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Twitter.

“The cancellation of flights is always emotions, anxiety, but the consul is next, and the issue is gradually being solved.” Part of the Ukrainians flew away from Delhi this morning, the part of which was canceled, some in the evening, others – by UIA flight tomorrow,” the report said.

The tensions between Pakistan and India increased after a suicide attack in Kashmir, which killed at least 41 Indian policemen. Responsibility for the attack was assumed by the Jash-e-Mohammad group based in Pakistan.

On February 26, Indian warplanes launched a “preemptive air strike” on militants in Pakistan. This air raid is called the first, carried out over the territory of Pakistan or part of Kashmir controlled by it since the last war between the two states in 1971.

On February 27, the Pakistani army said it had shot down two Indian military aircraft over the controversial Kashmir region and seized two pilots after they crossed the “line of control”, which is actually the border between the controlled parts of India and Pakistani by Kashmir. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan called for talks with India and expressed hope that common sense would help in de-escalating the situation. For his part, Foreign Minister of India Sushma Swaragh emphasized that her country “does not want to see further escalation.”
