The Supervisory Board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has decided to extend the contract with Andriy Kobolyev, CEO, and establish his monthly salary in the amount of UAH 2.08 million. Ukrainska Pravda was informed on this by the spokesperson of the company.
“New legislation gives the Supervisory Board of the state company the authority to make decisions on contracts with management,” the spokesperson said.
Prior to this, Groysman at one of the meetings of the government said that the salaries of Naftogaz’s managers should be “market”, not “skyrocketing”.
“I stand for market salaries and remuneration for the managers of the state-owned companies, but I am against that in such difficult times these payments are not just high, they are skyrocketing,” the head of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The Prime Minister promised that the Cabinet will address the Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine with a request to propose a new contract for the board, in which wages will depend on the company’s specific successes.
