President of France, Emmanuel Macron, will address the citizens of the European Union in the coming weeks, he will name the Brexit a wake up call that makes Europe to be more insistent with the competing nations of the world, Hromadske reports.
“If we, Europeans, don’t want to have other Brexit and do not want to get into the trap of naive defense in the status quo, we have to wake up,” said the source of the speech from Macron’s inner circle.
Assistant to the President said that Macron’s speech would be the most important after one of September 2017 (at the University of the Sorbonne), during which he urged for a fundamental reform of the European Union.
