Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that Ukraine will be able to abandon imported gas in the next 5 years due to the opening of access to Ukrainian natural resources.
“We have plenty of opportunities to become energy independent. We are starting to untangle a very complex and closed system – access to the Ukrainian subsoil.
I believe that in the next 5 years this open access will allow us not to buy gas for currency, but to produce it in Ukraine,” the prime minister said.
