The head of the Kherson Regional Council Vladyslav Manger, who is suspected of assassination of an activist and counselor to the mayor of Kherson, Kateryna Handziuk, was detained with the right to pledge.
Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv arrested Manger until March 3 with the right to pledge. Amount of collateral is 2 million 497 thousand UAH.
Following the announcement of a court decision, Manger’s lawyer, Dmytro Ilchenko, said that his client had no such funds. Manger was arrested in the courtroom and taken to a jail.
