At midnight the Central Election Commission finished the submission of documents. In total, 89 people are willing to become the president of Ukraine. The processing of applications and the decision to register each of the candidates are ahead. About a hundred people are willing to lead the country – in reactions from DUMKA.

Political scientist Mykhailo Basarab, commenting on the termination of the nomination of candidates, emphasized that Biletskyi, Vakarchuk and Yatsenyuk, who refused to participate in the elections, could take a significant part of the patriotic electorate by a total 10%. According to the expert, thus these three candidates invested in the defeat of the Kremlin revenge seekers and populists.

Valerii Klochok, a political expert, tried to answer the question of why there are so many candidates. According to him, the answer is obvious: there are sham candidates, just spoilers, and those, who are trying to raise the rating of the leading political projects on the eve of parliamentary elections. And also those, who face the task of discrediting the presidential candidate’s institute. The tasks during the campaign are different, but the goal is one – March 31, 2019.

People’s Deputy Boryslav Bereza called the number of candidates willing to get the mace “an epidemy of presidential ambitions”, adding that the candidates for the presidency will soon get separate rooms if it carries on like this.

Mykhailo Apostol, the advisor of Arsen Avakov, the Minister of Internal Affairs, joked that there would be much more of those willing to become the president, but some taxi drivers were still working, and senior staff just didn’t let the waiters go.

Vadym Labas, the head of the analytical department of the “Oberih” public organization was kidding and offered to introduce a law under which all those who do not fall into the top three will be… executed. Just don’t forget that it’s a joke.

Vadym Rabinovych, the one who, together with Muraev, created the party “For Life!”, also commented on the number of applications. Well, I think there is no need for explanation. He says he knows and talked to many candidates, and 90% of them are sick. Hmmm… Can we trust this doctor?

And by the way, according to the network, 89 people – it’s almost like an infantry company. Those would be nice headlines for the Russian media: “an infantry company of Banderites is registered as candidates for the presidency of Ukraine”, oh, it’s a pity that taxi drivers did not get to the CEC.

Volodymyr Runets, a journalist, recalled that the documents of the head of the Communist Party Simonenko were not excepted, Gnap brought the money at the last moment, and Vira Savchenko brought the documents for her sister Nadia. However, the final list of candidates will be published on the 9th of February. Stay tuned.

Oleksii Petrov, a blogger and ATO veteran, said that there are only 3 real candidates who have a chance to win. Others perform the sham function – to pull votes away, or thus get into the session hall in October.

Serhii Fil, the acting head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, in his turn, told how should Ukrainians registered in the temporarily occupied territories act. According to him, there is no need to worry, since it will be possible to vote in the place of residence, and such option is available to all Ukrainians.

Collected reactions and was late for the registration Stepan the Goat
