The President of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the President of Poland Andrzej Duda and welcomed the decision of the court, reports UNIAN.
“We are working further on strengthening the Ukrainian-Polish partnership”, the head of state added.
As reported by UNIAN, at the end of January 2018 the Polish Sejm and Senate adopted a law on the Institute of National Remembrance, which, in particular, prohibited the propaganda of the ideology of Ukrainian nationalists in the country. Also, the law introduced criminal liability for statements about the aiding of Poles to the Nazis during the Second World War.
