Lviv became the leader among Ukrainian cities in the annual ranking of cities of the world on the index of quality of life from the research database Numbeo.
Lviv ranked the 175th place (115.04 points), the capital of Ukraine Kyiv is at the 192nd place (104.46 points). On the 195th ranking on the quality of life index, there are Odesa (102.45) and Kharkiv (101.86). Dnipro (94.46) lag behind at the 202nd place.
In total 227 cities from many countries of the world are ranked. The best city in the quality of life index is Australia’s capital, Canberra (224.49 points) according to the Numbeo Database. The second place took Eindhoven (the Netherlands, 215.66).
The rating on the quality of life index was modeled, taking into account 8 indicators: purchasing power index, real estate value relative to household income, security index, healthcare, cost of living, transport time index, pollution, climate.
