The Federal Security Service of Russia asked the Lefortovo Court of Moscow to close the trial on the extension of the arrest period of Ukrainian prisoners from the listeners and the media and not to disclose the results of the meeting without the consent of the investigator. This was told by the lawyer of one of the arrested sailors Sergey Badamshyn, the Russian edition TASS writes.

“The Federal Security Service appealed to the court with a non-procedural appeal requesting a closed-ended meeting to continue the preventive measure (Ukrainian seamen), referring to the secrecy of the preliminary investigation”, the lawyer said.

According to Badamshyn, the Federal Security Service also requests not to disclose the results of the meeting without the consent of the investigator.

It is considered by the Ukrainian side a gross violation of the principle of transparency of justice.
