Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andriy Sibiga has published the list of injured sailors, members of a cargo ship’s command that sank along the coast of Turkey, and told about their state of health, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
The ambassador said that the consul, along with representatives of the Ukrainian community, visited all the sailors in the hospitals. Their condition is satisfactory.
Recall that January 7, due to weather conditions near the shore of the Samsun province in Turkey a cargo ship with 11 Ukrainians aboard sunk, as a result of the accident, 4 citizens of Ukraine died. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the vessel could not withstand the shock wave and broke down. According to local authorities, in total, 6 of the 13 crew members died as a result of the incident.
