The European Union once again called on Ukraine to raise the moratorium on the export of raw wood. This is stated in a joint statement on the results of the 5th meeting of the Ukraine-EU Council, which was held in Brussels today, Ukrainska Pravda writes.

“The EU called on Ukraine to continue to fight against hidden interests in order to improve the business and investment climate and quickly eliminate trade irritants, such as a moratorium on the export of unprocessed wood,” the statement said.

Recall that the EU has raised the issue of the round timber of the framework of the new agreement on the fourth program of macro-financial assistance in the amount of 1 billion euros. This question will be considered in a specially created arbitration.
