Russia has also strengthened its military presence in Crimea with modern submarines and rocket systems capable of striking targets in almost the entire Black Sea area. According to the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a representative of the CDI MDU Vadym Skibitsky informed, reports UNIAN.
“These are Su-27 and Su-30 aircraft that can operate throughout the Black Sea region and almost throughout the territory of Ukraine,” said Skibitsky. The defense of the coast of the Crimean peninsula, the Russian occupation forces reinforced 16 combat units of “Bastion” and “Bal” rocket systems capable of striking targets in almost the entire Black Sea water area.
