In the coming weeks, the North Atlantic Alliance intends to transfer Ukrainian military equipment for secure communications. This was announced by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a joint press conference with President Poroshenko at NATO Headquarters, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
“I just told President Poroshenko that we will deliver equipment for secure communication to the Ukrainian army by the end of the year,” he said.
The Secretary emphasized that this step will be one of the manifestations of reaction to Russian aggression in the Black Sea, recalling that the Alliance is already assisting the Armed Forces of Ukraine through trust funds, including a fund that deals with the reform of the communication system of the Ukrainian Army.
