“The meeting of the IMF Board of Directors is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18, where the Ukrainian issue will be considered. We expect a positive Stand-by solution that will replace the existing EFF program today and expect that the next tranche will come after the decision to Christmas (Dec. 25 – ed.),” said Smoliy.

It should be noted that earlier the head of the National Bank declared that the tranche of the IMF will go to Ukraine 10 days prior to the Catholic Christmas, that is, on December 15. According to Smoliy, the size of the first tranche of the IMF will amount to 1.4-1.9 billion dollars.
