The resolution calls on the US President and allies and partners of the United States to force Russia to respond to the ongoing aggression against Ukraine, UNIAN reports.
“The document calls on Russia to immediately return the vessels and their crew to Ukraine, stop violating the sovereignty of our state and impede Ukrainian shipping through the Azov Sea, which has this right in accordance with international norms and agreements,” the report said.
The resolution reaffirms the commitment of the United States to provide the Ukrainian people with the political, economic and security assistance necessary to ensure its independence, democratic development and prosperity.
