Ukrainian ports suffered losses in excess of 1 billion hryvnia due to Russia’s actions in the Azov Sea. Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan stated this, reports Radio Liberty.
“The port of Mariupol was forced to switch to a four-day working week. We see constant stops of Ukrainian and foreign ships in the Azov Sea, the Kerch Strait, up to the fact that shipowners suffer damage through simple ships. It is about 15-50 thousand dollars a day”, said Omelyan.
