The most debit electronic payment system PayPal has included the possibility of cross-border transfers for Ukraine. While this option is open only for payments from the US, and only because of the daughter of PayPal – the company Xoom. This was reported to CEO Creative Quarter Ilya Kenigshtein, who was part of the working group for negotiations with management of PayPal, on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
“PayPal has included the possibility of cross-border transfers for Ukraine, only with the US and so far only through his daughter Xoom, but I’m sure that this is just the beginning… An announcement of this event appeared on their website yesterday, August 28, 2018. with me representatives of Warsaw, the PayPal office contacted this morning, from now on Xoom allows you to send money from the United States to 130 countries in the list of which Ukraine is included,” Koenigstein wrote. He specified that the given channel gives an opportunity to receive transfers only from the USA, but this is the first step for Ukraine to become a full member of PayPal.
