The rights of Ukrainian-speaking residents are grossly violated in the Russia-occupied Crimea, but Kyiv will not use mirror actions in response, Ukrainska Pravda writes.

On August 27, it was reported that there were no Ukrainian schools in the Russian-occupied Crimea, and the number of schools with the Crimean Tatar language decreased by more than twice.

“We are not an aggressor, we are not occupiers, and we respect other national minorities,” answered Grinevich on the question of the possible closure of the Russian-language schools in Ukraine. The minister stressed that the Russian minorities in Ukraine apply the same rules as for other national minorities.
