All employees of the Institute for the Modernization of Educational Content, which is responsible for printing textbooks, plan to release and hold repeated contests for positions. This was announced today by the Minister of Education Lilia Grinevich during a speech to the Government meeting, Ukrayinska Pravda writes.

Such plans were the result of the failure of the timetable for printing textbooks. The first textbooks had to be in schools before September 1. However, now the deadlines moved forward a month. According to Grinevich, this happened, in particular, in connection with the poor examination of the Institute for the modernization of the content of education. “We can not allow the printing of textbooks on the history of Ukraine for the 10th grade and the 5th form, some of which have absolutely Soviet historiography, and have been sent to revise the textbooks. We can not allow such textbooks to fall into Ukrainian schools. We’d rather wait for them, “explained the minister. Because of this, the Ministry of Education and Science has planned an audit and reorganization of the institute.
