Almost all physicians are freed from the bone marrow transplantation unit of the “Okhmatdit” National Hospital. Thus, they responded to charges of corruption of the head of the Center for Children’s Oncohematology and the head of the department, said in the story of the TSN.
Parents of children who are in grave condition after transplantation in the hospital are concerned whether they will remain without medical aid at all. Now there are ten patients there. They can’t go to other hospitals, and even moving to the corridor is a risk.
Children hematologists have resigned, that way they supported the former head of the Center for Pediatric Onco-Hematology Svetlana Donskaya and head of the bone marrow transplantation department, Oleg Ryzhak. The hospital Okhmatdit dismissed them because of violations in the work. “We are a team, if there is no team – there is no transplantation,” one of the doctors explained.
