The suspect in the organization of the murder of journalist Arkady Babchenko went to a deal with the investigation. This was during a briefing on Tuesday, said Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
“Yes, Herman and his defense really started the preparation of the agreement and work in this context,” Lutsenko said. He assured that the so-called “organizer” actually confirms the version of the investigation and “directly points to the representative” of Russia. At the same time, the Prosecutor General noted that the agreement should still be approved by the court. In the evening of May 29 it became known that the Russian journalist Arkady Babachenko was allegedly being shot on the threshold of his apartment in Kiev. And on the evening of May 30, SBU chairman Vasyl Hrytsak said that Babchenko was alive: special service staged a “murder” to prevent the real murder and detain the customer.
