Two years later, all students will be checked for knowledge of mathematics: testing on this subject will be mandatory. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, reports “TSN”.
The reason for this decision is the poor results of this year’s EIT and the disappointing dynamics of recent years. Let’s remind that earlier his concern about the students’ spaces in mathematics was even expressed by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. He criticized the bad preparation of schoolchildren in the social network: “This is a total catastrophe! What are the prospects for the development of the Ukrainian IT sector and engineering? What technological breakthroughs do we dream of? We deliberately doom ourselves to the periphery of life.”
