A few days ago, units of 24-brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces together with the company of the deep reconnaissance of a separate intelligence battalion pushed the Russian occupation troops, thus moving forward a few kilometers. This was written on his Facebook page by the coordinator of the “Information Resistance”, Dmytro Tymchuk, UNIAN reports.
According to him, the result of this work was the completion of the establishment of a security ring around the city of Toretsk and the formation of a buffer zone around the checkpoint “Mayorskoye”. At the same time, the settlement of “Shumy” and the suburbs of this settlement, the route along the waterpipe and the suburbs of “Shahty” settlement are under the full control of the Joint Forces. In total, more than ten square kilometers of so-called “gray zone” was taken under the control.
