In Russia, ukrainian Roman Ternovsky was sentenced for alleged involvement in the activities of the “Right Sector” to 2 years and 3 months of the colony of the general regime, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

Russian law enforcers say that in the years 2015-2016 on the territory of Ukraine the man was “engaged in the organization of the production and distribution of attributes with the symbols of the “Right Sector”, as well as participated in public actions against the interests of the Russian Federation.” In particular, he was charged with involvement in 2016 in the so-called “Bear blockade” on the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Kharkiv region. Russia believes that the blocking of its trucks was intended to “cause the property and reputation damage to the Russian Federation and its foreign economic relations.” Ternovsky also allegedly participated in a rally under the Russian Consulate in Kharkiv in 2016. Investigators of the Russian Federation said that it was aimed at “obstruction and disruption of events in honor of Russia’s Day.”
