The Consul of Ukraine in Milan maintains operational contact with the police in order to find out if there are Ukrainians among the victims of the collapse of the bridge in Genoa. This was reported in the Twitter of Department of the Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrinform reports.
“The collapse of the bridge in Genoa, dozens of victims. The consul of Ukraine in Milan supports operational contact with the police,” the statement said.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Italy, in the north of Italy in the city of Genoa, the bridge collapsed, dozens of people were killed, five others were hospitalized and in critical condition. Under the rubble, there are several broken vehicles with the dead people.
