British Minister for Europe and American Affairs, Alan Duncan, expressed his concern about the situation of three Ukrainian political prisoners who continue to starve and urged Russia to immediately release them.
“We continue to be concerned about the state of Oleg Sentsov, Volodymyr Balukh and Emir-Usain Cooku, who are starving with the demand for the release of Ukrainian political prisoners … The imprisonment of these people and many other Ukrainians seems politically motivated, and we call Russian authorities immediately release them,” Alan Duncan quotes the UK government’s website on Friday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
