While in your news feed Croatian footballers competing for rating with FIFA, somewhere a little bit further from our country events that are practically out of sight, are happening although they are extremely important. For example, the 20th Ukraine-EU Summit that held in Brussels. What, unexpectedly? Details are already in reactions from DUMKA.
Not that I wanted to turn on some particular betrayal, but let’s be honest: the summit really almost left out of sight. Precise and rational about all this, including the achievements of the summit itself is written on the web page of journalist, blogger and writer Pavlo Bondarenko. In short: Europe is delighted with the scale and efficiency of reforms in Ukraine; it supports the sovereignty and integrity of our state. The issue of our guys who are hostages to the Kremlin regime was also raised. According to Bondarenko, the results of the summit are a huge victory, strengthening of the pro-Ukrainian policy of the EU and thoughts about large-scale investments in Ukraine. That’s how it’s going, kids. What’s up, cheering for Vida since childhood?

The President was also satisfied with results of the summit. According to Petro Poroshenko, he came out of the meeting with optimism about the further successful development of our ambitious agenda.
In fact, what is more important is that for the first time in the history of the summits, the names of Oleg Sentsov, Roman Sushchenko and Volodymyr Baluch were in the final protocol. That’s what matters more than rating of organization, which has already removed the option to put ones. Effectively and efficiently, but let’s return to reality.
For those who like to read more letters – a larger version of summit’s overview was made by press secretary of the President of Ukraine Svyatoslav Cegolka. So, Mr. Svyatoslav, lots of writing and no likes? Well, never mind, this is your job. At least, sometimes you even appear in reactions.
However, diplomat Vasyl Filipchuk came visited this ointment-summit with a drop of a fair poison. In fact, behind every success there is at least a small “but”, which nevertheless, of course, is worth considering. For example, 1 billion of macro-financial assistance is, in fact, a loan, albeit under very good conditions. In general, according to Filipchuk, everything happened in the format “met, took photos and haven’t given the answers to the main questions.” At least there are some photos. Because nowadays it’s like: If you haven’t uploaded the photos, you haven’t been to the summit.
However all these “pros” and “cons”, “victories” and “betrayals” (even though they’re tiny and safe), they have been will always be. Because, where a hypothetical Mr. Diplomat tries to set all the dots over the “i”, there’s always someone who will emphasize the positive dynamics. For example, we have Natalia Boyko, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry. Only I didn’t get it completely: whether she copied everything from Mr. Cegolka or wrote everything herself. However, never mind.
Reactions were gathered and the fact that at least someone wrote about the summit was cheered by Stepan the Goat
