There are currently no alternatives for Ukraine’s Armed Forces to the 120 mm Molot mortar produced at the PJSC Mayak in Kyiv, head of the state-run Ukroboronprom concern Pavlo Bukin has said. “At present, we do not have alternatives to the Molot mortars, in any case, it needs to be done, and we need to use it in the Armed Forces,” Bukin said on 112.ukraine TV on Friday.
The head of Ukroboronprom also expressed his confidence that the conclusions on the expediency of further deliveries to the army of new armaments can be made on the basis of the conclusions of the investigation initiated by the military of the deadly tragedy at the military training grounds in Rivne region.
