Sometimes, when you’re scrolling through the news, you just want to get up and get out. So, Vladimir Putin named some units of the Russian army after the names of Ukrainian cities. The leader of the aggressor state supposedly took such a step in order to preserve the military and historical traditions etc. More on infantile dementia – in reactions from DUMKA.

To my great surprise, I’ve managed to find even quite restrained and censored reactions. For example, Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhin briefly explained: There are some characters that from time to time fall into their childhood with an unfinished game of soldiers and scrapped knees. Well, it seems, it’s time to put somebody in the corner.

Instead, MP Ihor Lutsenko assumed the role of the main source of panic. According to him, such actions of Putin testify that Russia’s attack is inevitable because it’s constantly preparing for it. According to MP, we can’t prevent Russian aggression, within our power is only to reverse it. Khm. And if we combine this course of events with Mr. Zolotukhin’s thoughts, it turns out that we’ll be under attack from plastic tanks and toy-soldiers.

But here, blogger Oleksandr Nonets is convinced that we’re facing a classic problem: the problem of the Ukrainian consciousness’s asymmetricity. Because if our president decided to take such a step, everything would immediately turn into betrayal. You know, we’re good at the acceleration of betrayals. Isn’t it true?

Well-known blogger, volunteer, and civic activist Nazar Prykhodko stressed that we need to be on the guard. He also added that during the national liberation war we lack regaining of initiative and non-standard state steps: Putin steadily steals history from us and our neighbours.

Journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk decided to remind Putin and his company MH17 aircraft, that was downed several years ago. He offered to name 53rd air-defense brigade – “Malaysian-Dutch Guard” As for me, this trolling is for A+.

Volunteer Rodion Shovkoshitin noted that Putin is still playing in “grandfathersfoughtinwarriors”. Well, Mr. Rodion, you understand that sick people can’t be others. At least from the other side of the border.

Volodymyr Aryev, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, wrote that such actions by Putin testify to the fact that we’re going to have difficult times ahead. And not only us. Okay, my darlings, let’s hold on, it’s not the worst monster we’ve passed.

Reactions were gathered and fake-news was awaited by Stepan the Goat.
