Petro Poroshenko appointed the ex-head of the Donetsk military-civilian regional administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky to the audit committee of the NABU. Zhebrivsky himself thanked the president for his new post and promised to make NABU the most transparent and effective body.  Betrayal and victory of this decision in the reactions from DUMKA.

Pavlo Zhebrivsky himself, on his web page promised to conduct an impartial assessment of NABU, regardless of political preferences and subtext. Well, to promise doesn’t mean to merry. That’s why in the near future Mr. Zhebrivsky should get used to constant and close attention.

Many users reacted to this appointment with considerable distrust.

And the volunteer Rodion Shovkoshytni is even waiting for NABU to open a case on Zhebrivsky. Khm, it seems that this appointment can provoke an interesting movie with unpredictable plot. Take your popcorn and get ready for the show, Stepan the Goat is keeping a track of the situation with you.

Political expert Oleksiy Minakov also reacted quite skeptically. He noted that foreign candidates had missed the opportunity to hold this post. But even political experts also like to gamble sometimes, that’s why Minakov said that it’s possible that in the future we may witness Artem Sytnik resignation.

By the way, recently Minakov was reflecting on, why have Zhebrivsky decided to quit the position of the head of the Donetsk regional military-civilian organization. The expert suggested that Zhebrivsky did not want to become presidential administrative resource before the elections or he himself was going to run for the presidency. As we see, the answer turned out to be more prosaic. For fortune-telling skills we give you “unsatisfactory” mark.

Here we have journalist Levko Stek who counted all Zhebrivsky’s “achievements” and named the new appointment a real mockery. It seems that it’s betrayal, even some arguments are given, how not to rack your brain?

All in all, everything is not so scary, because according to political scientist Petro Oleschuk, everything could be… much worse. A wonderful case how to make victory out of betrayal: just imagine, it could be worse. Nice, I’ll adopt this tactics.

Ex-advisor to Prime Minister Volodymyr Tsybulko decided to protect Mr. Zhebrivsky by calling him a true patriot or competent specialist, adding to this praises about the results of his previous work. However, in comments, Mr. Tsybulko was asked whether he received some one-bedroom flat for this eulogy.

In contrary, MP Ihor Lutsenko criticized those… who criticize the president’s choice. Because it is people who developed the law on NABU and made it possible for Petro Poroshenko to appoint one of the auditors. “Sweat and shame, not the anti-corruption reforms,” says Lutsenko. “I’m watching you”, – me answering.

And the best way to complete this little review is by citing Volodymyr Golobutsky’s post. In his opinion, NABU should be renamed to ZHNABU. And in my opinion, you’ve just read an example of a bad joke. Well, it’s not funny what I can do here?
