The U.S. Senate has approved $716 billion National Defense Authorization Act for the fiscal year 2019. The document provides, among other things, the provision of assistance to Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In addition, the document contains a provision on the need to “support robust security assistance for Ukraine, including defensive lethal assistance, while promoting necessary defense institutional reforms.”
