There are a lot of legends and beliefs about salvia. For a long time this plant was considered as a symbol of longevity, so to say, that who plants it in his garden would have a longevity and good health. Moreover, salvia is used in medicine as anti-inflammatory and hemostatic agent. But all this remains overshadowed when you are alone with the whole field planted with salvia. There are only two variants: either somebody wanted to live too long or the beauty of salvia got on top.
