Ukrainian shops are again at the heart of the scandal. This time the Stylus.ua online store will appear in our story, where the marketer Roman Rybalchenko bought an e-book that had been stolen, as it turned out. Do you think that’s it? No, instead of solving this situation, the owner of the store … attacked the buyer using his fists. More about classics of communication with clients – read in the reactions from DUMKA.
Roman Rybalchenko himself published a rather detailed post, in which he told about the conflict with the Stylus shop. According to him, the book was supposed to become a gift, but it was impossible to link the device to the account on the manufacturer’s website: there was a message that the book was stolen. Further, if you believe the author of the post, just phenomenal work of the call center of the store took place: they do not advise, have not heard about Amazon at all, e-mail us, please. In short, the beauty of the native call centers in one dialogue.
Further – a happy coincidence for the buyer: he found himself near the shop owner.
After the correspondence the owner agreed to meet with Roman Rybalchenko in the end, but instead of the dialogue he came with “methodical punches with a fist in the eyebrow”.
But this is not a finish as well! Even a start, as Lina Kostenko said. During the second meeting of the buyer and the owner of the store the last said that talked to the victim … man to man. At this point I give him a standing ovation, diplomatic skills – level: God.
According to Roman’s friend, Mykhailo Shcherbakov, who was supposed to become the owner of the “new” electronic book, at first it seemed that the victim simply met some uncomfortable life context. Yeah. And then the shop owner met an uncomfortable eyebrow. Well, that’s life, they need to understand it.
But on the website of the Stylus shop they assured that the client was always right for them, and therefore he was immediately offered to replace the gadget or return the money. The company refused to comment the subsequent events for two reasons. The first (attention please, it’s not a joke) – it has nothing to do with the company’s activities. It’s getting ridiculous, isn’t it? And the second… Roman Rybalchenko is a customer, and he is always right. Please help Stepan Koza find logic in these words.
The labor market expert Serhii Marchenko reminded that this is hardly the first case when Ukrainian companies treated the buyers as disrespectfully as possible. It is worth remembering at least a recent story with Citrus. What shall we do? The expert says that we must “hurt them”. It is good that he gave some details: it was about the waiver of purchases. But I always thought that the worst thing is one star on Facebook.
Of course, we couldn’t do without the expected jokes. Here’s the musician Ivan Marunych, before going to the shop asked his friends to recommend martial art courses. So-so, Ivan, not very witty.
But I will be honest, the second joke of the musician made a good impression. Imagine as if the guy started working in the Stylus shop as a crisis manager and … a fitness trainer. You can, Mr. Marunych, if you want. I give you five, and four for the semester.
The PR manager Volodymyr Dehtiarov called Stylus the new “Citrus” and invited the victim to do Jiu-Jitsu together. It seems to me, that the company that traded stolen e-books should think about a decent response. How many security services are there without work?
The blogger Vadym Fulmakht commented on the conflict itself rather superficially, but added that the shop hired a bot farm for its protection, and in the comments to the post of the victim a lot of theses appeared about “everything is not so simple”, “something is wrong here” and so on. Is it a coincidence? I don’t think so.
Short description of the situation looks like that.
The journalist Petro Terentiev assured that it was not the first time when Stylus sold stolen equipment. Therefore, it is difficult to determine what is worse – “Citrus” or Stylus.
The blogger Anton Khodz had an unpleasant experience with the company. They were trying to sell the phone of an older model for the price of the newer. After that, the story with the emotional manager looks rather logical. Progress, evolution, development.
The event itself had even been dubbed “the most loud scandal in the history of Ukrainian ecommerce”, adding that some of the company’s owners still live in the “Brigada” universe. Maybe they’re all just since the first grade together?
