Ukrainian journalism is still able to amaze and make you feel rather different emotions. The incredibly absurd report about Mrs. Halyna Pidopryhora, the owner of countless awards, prizes and titles, was prepared by journalists from one of the local TV channels in Zmiivshchyna. Halyna Pidopryhora has to thank the project “Toronto Television ” for a new wave of her popularity. The segment was posted on the page of this project. I must confess, the emotions expressed in the text of the post, make people smile no less than the regalia of incredible Halyna.
Just think about the names of the orders and awards that this charming woman has received: the business lady of Ukraine and the world, the citizen of the century of Kharkiv, the guardian of the Ukrainian Cossacks, and the vice-president of the World Patronage League. It seems to me we are dealing with the Ukrainian version of Billy Milligan, no doubt.
Our special thanks go to “Toronto Television”, which has not provided the whole segment, but only a few minutes of it. Who knows how our perception of the world would change after that. Therefore, fewer screenshots, more of the segment, scroll down and enjoy this festival of journalistic talent.
The blogger Ivan Oberemko also called for acquaintance with Mrs. Pidopryhora. Poor Mr. Oberemko managed to be Arkadii Babchenko twice, dying and resurrecting alternatively of his acquaintance with Mrs.Pidopryhora. We are all a little bit like Babchenko. And I’m not surprised if Halyna Pidopryhora is actually the best employee of the Security Service of Ukraine. Well, at least in Zmiivshchyna.
But Yuliia Batkilina, the writer, spoke about some mysterious store with a list of all Mrs. Pidopryhora’s titles and chocolates for UAH 40 (not even trousers, you see?). Honestly, I do not know whether to believe it or not, but why cannot a knight and a lady of the world afford a tiny store?
Probably, you will not believe me, but there are such people who have seen her in person! Yes, this very guardian of the titles and Zmiivshchyna, patron of all living and resurrected. And even several times! Read this story, because Halyna Pidopryhora is a person whose biography is worth knowing and her portrait should be hung next to Shevchenko, or next to Kameniar. It would be more symbolic. She supports, and Franko – hits that rock.
We continue to study reactions of Ukrainian users to Mrs. Pidopryhora’s figure. A medal for a diploma. Uh-huh I see. Is it like a car for a bicycle? Or a dollar for a hryvnia? This lady Halyna is miraculous, it cannot be explained otherwise. Here is a real woman. She has both a mystery and recognition. I will not be surprised if she sings like an angel. Where is my retirement age, uh.
Do you think the hardcore is over? You are naive, my readers, though beloved ones. Look, who is it? Yurii Zhabotiuk in the flesh, a fictional character originally from Zmiivshchyna, who has known Halyna for a long time and respects her as a true comrade-in-arms! That’s it, now I have seen everything in this life, I can go somewhere in Zmiivshchyna, receive a blessing from Mrs. Pidopryhora and die.
