On Sunday the 18th of March there was an official opening of Urban Music Hall in Odessa. Organizers say that they create new format of musical space – a place where every day classical, jazz and ethnic music sounds by Ukrainian and foreign musicians. The hall can ‘transform’ into a cinema or lecture room.
The opening has been accompanied by base orchestra of the place led by Yevhen Kostrutskyi – a laureate of international contest, a concertmaster-soloist of Odessa Philharmonic orchestra. They performed the works by Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla.
