Zelensky: In Stanytsia Luhanska the forces are disengaged, a subtle hope appeared

In Stanytsia Luhanska disengagement of armed forces took place at the demarcation line. This was reported by the president Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook July 1.

“Today, in Stanytsia Luhanska the disengagement of two armies took place. This was documented and confirmed by the OSCE Monitoring Mission,” he said in a video message.

“I congratulate you all. This, it seems to me, is the first step towards a permanent ceasefire along the whole demarcation line, which was held due to the unblocking of the Minsk process,” Zelensky said.

 

“I understand that only time and concrete steps will be able to confirm to everyone that the parties are fulfilling their obligations,” he added.
