The National Bank of Ukraine is going to put into operation one thousand hryvnia bill since October 25, 2019.
The bill will be of a blue color with a portrait of Volodymyr Vernadskyi on one side and the house of National Academy of Science – on the other.
In addition to this National Bank of Ukraine is going to abandon 1, 2 and 5 kopiyka coins since October 1, 2019. These coins will stop being means of payment in Ukraine and you won’t be able to pay at shops and other places with them.
