President Petro Poroshenko said that the National Security and Defense Council initiates an international audit and a comprehensive revision of all contracts of the state concern “Ukroboronprom”. He said this at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on March 6.
“We initiate an independent international audit and a comprehensive revision of all contracts,” the president said.
“I propose to expand the composition of the Group’s Supervisory Board at the expense of international experts from ally countries who are the members of NATO,” he added.
Recall that on February 25, the Bihus.info publication unveiled an investigation into how people from the surroundings of Petro Poroshenko are in control of plunders in the defense sector. In the investigation, the son of Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Ihor Hladkovsky appeared.
According to journalists, the 22-year-old Hladkovsky-junior, together with his partners, organized the supply of smuggled Russian parts for military equipment, for which the state-owned enterprises overpaid 2-4 times, buying it from the company-gaskets. The management of “Ukroboronprom” knew about the deals and gave them their consent.
