General Director of the State Enterprise “Ukroboronprom” Pavlo Bukin claims the groundless accusation of “Our Money” journalists about the plunder in the defense sector, BBC reports.
“Obtaining a reward is categorically denied. It’s not true,” Bukin says.
Denies the director and overpriced seven times the price of the details: “We have an appropriate selection procedure for suppliers, fixed in time and in documents, in correspondence. We are ready to provide all this information upon request of any law enforcement agency,” Bukin assured.
He also argues that the investigation “can not clearly conclude that the price was really inflated.”
Recall that on February 25, the Bihus.info publication unveiled an investigation into how people from the surroundings of Petro Poroshenko are in control of thefts in the defense sector. In the investigation, the son of Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Ihor Hladkovsky appeared.
According to journalists, the 22-year-old Hladkovsky-junior, together with his partners, organized the supply of smuggled Russian parts for military equipment, for which the state-owned enterprises overpaid 2-4 times, buying it from the company-gaskets. The management of “Ukroboronprom” knew about the deals and gave them their consent.
