“Ukroboronprom” dismissed the directors of their two companies due to the resonant investigation into the theft in the defense sector. This is stated on the official site of “Ukroboronprom”.
“Director of the State Enterprise ‘O. Morozov Kharkiv Design Bureau for Machine-Building’ Oleksiy Babich and director of the ‘Izyum Instrument-Making Plant’ Serhiy Filonenko were removed from their posts,” the report said.
It is noted that such a decision was made “due to massive public indignation caused by information released in the media”.
At the same time, the concern emphasizes that they are aimed at providing the conditions for conducting of the corresponding investigation.
