Ukrainian military intends to increase Ukraine’s naval capabilities during joint exercises with Alliance’s ships. The head of the Ukrainian defense ministry said this in Brussels after his visit to NATO Headquarters, where he attended a working meeting at the Defense Ministers of the Alliance level, reports UNIAN.
“NATO’s naval presence in the Black Sea will be significantly enhanced this year. Almost every month, NATO ships and key allies will be deployed to Ukrainian ports, including to conduct joint training with the Naval Forces of Ukraine in order to increase the capability of our Navy,” said Poltorak.
