Judge Serhiy Karakashian, who will take the decision to suspend Ulana Suprun from the post of Acting Minister of Health, is still in the courtroom. This was announced by the judge-speaker of Kyiv District Administrative Court Bohdan Sanin at a briefing in Kyiv, UNIAN reports.
“As at 10:00, the judge is in the courtroom and continues to consider appeals for the cancellation of measures to secure the claim,” he said.
He noted that the court clearly indicated the extent of the authority that Suprun has. “The decision of February 5 brings in only two restrictions: the inability to participate in Cabinet meetings and to define the strategic direction of the ministry, and all other powers that were delegated to it as the first deputy minister,” he said.
When asked what exactly this authority was, Sanin advised applying to the Cabinet of Ministers, which appointed Suprun and granted her powers.
