The Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine has made a decision on the suspension of Zurab Alasania’s withdrawal from the position of chairman of the Board of the Public Broadcasting. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the company Svitlana Ostapa, Ukrainska Pravda writes.
“As soon as the Supervisory Board has voted in favor of the early termination of the contract with the chairman of the board of the PJSC NPBU Zurab Alasania 9 votes in favor, 3 against,” she wrote.
Journalists Hnap and Sedletska claimed that the pressure was put on Alasania by the presidential envoy because of journalistic investigations about Petro Poroshenko’s fortunes, which were on the air of “UA: First”.
